I get a kick out of people who "expect" results out of some schmoe based on one year. One year says nothing about a player. Every year some player comes out of nowhere and has a greater-than-expected season, then sinks back down to obscurity the next season. Stop reaching for players and expecting them to perform exactly the same year to year and you'll be less disappointed overall.

Exactly.... on June 1st he was .296, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 6 steals. Exactly his stats now.
I agree that Hart also started off slow last year and picked it up as the season went on.
However, I think you also need to factor in that he has significantly more AB's this year compared to this time last year, due to the fact that he was a bit banged up and wasn't playing every day (partially due to Yost's stupidity).
Nevertheless, I do consider Hart to be a good buy low candidate.

Except Hart isn't some schmoe, and his minor league numbers and prior call-ups all indicated that last year was not a fluke. He didn't come out of no where. He will be fine. 75% of the season is still yet to be played.

You call yourself an expert? We have already established that his beard is too heavy for his head. And possible post-tax stress.

Agreed. Corey Hart is not a schmoe. When I think schmoe I think somebody like Eric Byrnes.
