i'm kinda new to fantasy baseball and i'm playing in a yahoo rotisserie league and someone proposed a trade to me involving: first he wants tejada, rivera, and pujols; and he's offering ARod, josh phelps and Nevin. please let me know if this would work out in my favor

Don't do it. He's asking for the number #2 ss, the #1 3b [Pujols (if not eligible at 3rd, only one of the best outfielders around)] plus a 1st tier, if healthy closer(Rivera was undisputedly the best closer in baseball going into last year and is supposed to be healthy this year)
All he's offering in return is the #1 ss and a dark horse in Nevin. Phelps is borderline useless without catcher eligibility.
She turned me into a newt...........................

I'd agree, dont do it. AROD is awesome but Tejada and Pujols are studs. Not to mention possibly the best closer in the league on the best team in the league.
Buerhle...Colon...Koch... Championship please?

You'd be giving up too much to get Arod - in effect a 1st and 2nd round draft choice for him and a decent 7th-8th round pick and wildcard Phelps. But when you throw in Rivera too, it's way too much to give up.
