get santana off your bench and replace maddux man! :-)
i dont mind ur team, looks nice. joe mauer is a questionmark though. you have a few veteran pitchers there, which means they might get injured easily etc. but your offense is nice.

this one requires some study. You have potential, but will need to work the waivers hard. huge question marks with Mauer, Alomar, Brown and Maddux. Ofensive bench is week, but , the good news is ,this is fertile ground on the waiver wire/free agents etc.

all things considered, I think if you're active on day to day management, you can do very well.

I would post definitley pick up hairston. he was studly before he got hurt and is batting in a revamped baltimore lineup. He also has a ton of upside. And alomar is getting old...Mauer should have a good 2n half of the season but i think it will be bumpy in the first half...what other catchers are available on the waivers?

I dont think brown is a questinmark at all. He should flourish in the bronx. He will do good this year.[/quote]

I'd agree with picking up Hairston for 2b. He was leading the AL in steals before he got hurt last year I believe. Imagine with him at the top of a lineup with Tejada and Palmeiro behind him.....

hairston in... robbie out...

i still have some faith robbie may bounce back this year, but i'm feeling the need for speed... besides SB potential... do you see much improvement this year w/ jerry?? Is he capable of hitting over .300 or scoring 100+ runs?? Anything close to 10 HR power-wise would be MORE THAN what i bargained for this year from jerry.

Catchers on the Wire Include:
-Lo Duca - who to waive to pick him up though =/
-Hall
-Craig Wilson
-Benji Molina
-Victor Martinez

Lo Duca instead of Mauer?... i'd hate to waive the best prospect in baseball... Any opinions? Valverde and Riske make for some really solid hold options... As far as Klesko, my #1 competition is looking for a 1B, but is a stingy trader with a lot of knowledge.

10+ hr for hairston plus 300+ avg? i'd like to see it, but that's Ichiro territory of stats (almost). not sure if i'd look to him for that but would be happy with just the steals each week.
