I know he pinch hit last night and drew a walk. Does this mean he's back starting today?

This from Rotowire:

Update: Jacobs (left quad) ran on Monday, and seems close to a return to full-time action, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Recommendation: He’s been available to pinch-hit, but the Marlins haven’t wanted him to aggravate the injury further by playing defense.

Thanks.

I was debating between starting him or Delmon Young in my U spot today.

If you can, check lineups - Young turned his ankle last night and may be held out today. I have the exact same choice, BTW.

Looks like starting Jacobs can't be done until maybe Friday - from Yahoo:

May 14 Jacobs (left quad) may not return to the starting lineup until at least Friday, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Recommendation: "I don't feel comfortable yet starting him, but he is improving," manager Fredi Gonzalez said after Tuesday's game, in which Jacobs was used as a pinch-hitter.

Thanks for the update. My team is getting worked over by injuries. Fist A-Rod, then Mora, just had to pick up Feliz to patch that hole.

Jacobs, lead to me picking up Huff, who has filled in ok.

Throw in the old guys Kent and Griffey and its taking a lot of time to fin d out who is going to play each day. Uggg. At least Lackey is coming back today.
