Son of a... Ortiz and Manny, c'mon!

Okay, As a guy owning both Ortiz and Manny I've just got to vent:

Two on, one out in the top of the ninth. Struggling pitcher on the mound, just gave up two singles... Ortiz at the plate. Swings at the first pitch, pops out to short left.

Manny swings at the first pitch, pops out to center.

Now, it sounds stupid to complain about two of the greatest hitters in the game. Sure it is. I admit it. But I have to say I would have LOVED to see one or both of them perhaps WORK THE COUNT A BIT?
