Time to start EVERYONE against the Jays?

Agaisnt lefties, Marco Scutaro is their DH right now. They are starting 4 good hitters (Hill, Rios, Rolen, Mench), though two of those guys are in massive slumps. It isn't a fluke that they aren't scoring at all.

Yes, start everyone agaisnt them.

In all fairness, even with the best lineup out there they have had trouble scoring. Also, it's not fair to take it out of context as that particular lineup was on the 2nd game of a double header. As sad as it sounds, Scuttaro was also the team's hottest hitter.

Well 3 runs did it tonight... I swear to god if this team could score 4 runs a game they would be close to the division lead.

Geez... had both Burnett and Marcum going for me tonight. Combined 15.2 IP, 3ER, 7H, 3BB, 12K... and no wins

Any starter is worth starting against the Blue Jays. Maybe they should trade for Frank Thomas.

Can anyone actually make a sound statistical argument that keeping Frank Thomas was a good idea. I much prefer the Mench/Stairs platoon that the team will have going forward.

Well if we had Frank Thomas (an .857 OPS hitter from last year), we could be playing Stairs and Mench in left field, instead of Shannon Stewart/Brad Wilkerson/Marco Scutaro.
