What is up with him? I heard that he is throwing in the pen. Does anyone know when he will be back in the rotation? :-S

I wouldn't concern myself about Burnett until 2005. That's how long it will take for him to fully recover from tommy john surgery.

rotoworld said he is shooting for a may comeback. i think he originally wanted to try for the start of the season but may is a lot safer.

Ya he's shooting for a May comeback but even then it will take him at least a month to get back to normal. I agree don't think about him till 2005.

I disagree. He was pitching better than Beckett before he went down and if he's healthy, he should put up some decent numbers. He will be available on waivers in most leagues, so it might be wise to pick him up and stash him on your DL.

just like getting "New Belts" ..
MLB should make it mandatory for all prospects. ;-)

I think I had Tommy John surgery on my fingers. I haven't typed this good in years. I wish I had done this when I was 10 :-D

I'm glad that everyone is ignoring him. He will make a fine #5 starter (at the worst) for any fantasy team this season.
