I can't imagine if he was hurt enough to leave the game, that they would put him back in for the second game....but we will see.

I would plan on seeing him again in the later game. They will want to at least be careful with him. Lets hope that it's just a game or two. I have been without Furcal's services for about a week because of back issues!

Correction not seeing him - sorry. They will want to take precautions. The broadcasters have'nt offered any further insight.

Rotoworld says back spasms, so it looks like nothing serious. If he was going to get hurt, I would rather happen at the end of the week, stupid weekly lineups.

i dont think this is serious. at least i hope not. man, my teams are being decimated by injuries and underperformance

Not just wishful thinking but I would say its minor. I watched the reply and he never even grimiced or looked in pain for a second. The weather in Pittsburgh is obviously a factor with the spasms and they want to play it safe I am sure.
