My friend joined a Yahoo! public roto league where the draft is auto-list and he was shocked that he had BOTH Pujols and Prior (the rest of his team wasn't that good), especially because he had the fourth pick. What's worse is that A-Rod was selected with the FIFTH PICK!! (IT went Soriano, Beltran, SHEFFIELD before them). Prior was also not one of the first starters picked and Jose Vidro got selected before Vlad Guerrero. Nomar and Jason Varitek also got selected in the 3rd round-two picks apart!

well arod is 1st on most yahoo lists, so that means the people that picked 1,2,3,4 set their lists without arod in the top 4, which makes no sense... more like moronic. Just cause it's an autodraft dosent mean you can't set your list before hand.
The way Yahoo ranking works just means that you have to put some work in and come up with your own rankings. Isn't that what makes fantasy baseball fun?
Actually Pujols is ranked #1 on Yahoo, with A-Rod #2. If these guys weren't taken until later, it means that most of the players in that league pre-ranked and rated highest the guys they wanted, perhaps thinking they would not get either of the top two anyway..... In my two public leagues, I was the only pre-ranker in one and one of two in the other. I got Prior-Vlad-Rolen 1-2-3 in BOTH leagues!! You are flirting with disaster if you choose not to pre-rank in Yahoo auto drafts........
