The only way to survive this one may be to sign Barry Bonds, but the Jays clearly have decided they aren't going to "sell their souls" in order to win. I'm thinking this is the end for JP Ricciardi.

I'm thinkin I'm glad I didn't waste a pick on this 'rebound candidate'.

Toronto needs to ammend their nickname to the Black & Blue Jays.

Bad news for the Jays. Is this the year they finish last?

He was rebounding fine this year.. until the broken wrist.
So unless your nostradamus and predicted his broken wrist, it wasn't like he was that bad..

The Jays finished last in '04. It wouldn't be unprecedented. As for this year, well they still have the best rotation in the league, and eventually you'd have to think some of their players will start hitting with RISP. No...I don't think they'll finish in the basement, atleast not this year. This may hurt my Tampa bet, though.

In the last week, he was looking much better. I think he would have had a decent season, but nothing anywhere near his '03 and '06 bests. Vernon has always been an overrated fantasy player.
