There are still plenty of good players available (Dunn, Gerut, Patterson, and more). Do you think any offensive will have less than stellar years? Should I place a claim on Vinny Castilla for Koskie? Should I try to pick up better pitchers? If so who should I drop?

You need to get a couple closers. And if Patterson is available, drop Lofton and pick him up.

Oh yeah it is head to head. Some guy took Gagne, Foulke, and Wagner 1, 2, 3 so there are no real closers available. I was going to try to pick up a sleeper, like macdougal last year.
