Whats been up with him lately, ever since they moved him to leadoff spot he has been stinking. In his last 10 games he is 8/35, in last 5 games he is 2/24. Is he injuried or just slumping it up?

It's the curse of the Home Run Derby! I think he will eventually bust the slump though and show his true talent.

He was actually hitting the ball really well in the leadoff spot. It's only recently that he has been struggling. He just doesn't look comfortable and is pressing. He'll bust out of it though, he's a kind of streaky hitter to begin with.

I remember he was like this last year also. He had a bad slump in the start of the season, but eventually broke out and did fine the rest of the way.

He is K/AB rate is almost double that of last year (once every 3.8 AB vs ever 6.2). He isn't going to produce the power of a 150+ strikeout guy, so he better stop whiffing like one. Granted, 12 Ks in his last 5 games skews his ratio a little. But still, in h2h that type of week will sink an entire team.

Good insight here. His 3K/game routine over the last fiscal week have really killed me in my H2H.
