He seemed to go downhill last year after he met that femme fatale on the NY subway. Any chance he finds her and rebounds with a 15W, 3.40 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, with 180 K's?
Are we expecting a big rebound year, in line with 2002, or is he expected to stay pitch like he did in 2003?

Oh, he fell in love with a woman, didn't get her name, and then put ads in the New York papers to try to find her.

Ha-ha-ha. Porr guy. I always kinda laugh when I see those type of ads: "Saw you on the ferry, you were wearing a red sweater. You waved, I smiled. I love you. Please call."

On the one hand kinda sad and lonely, but on the other hand, sometimes you do connect with a person a certain way, and if you don't get that phone number you may never see them again. Strange world it is.

But back to Randy, I'm looking for him toi do well this year, but hard to put him in the top 15. Maybe right around there though.

I have more faith in Josh B. ;-)

I think of Randy as a solid number 2 starter.

I have him with prior, vasquez, and Zambrano, so I'm hoping I never have to pick up a starter all season, but you know, it never works that way. I took him in the 11th round of a 12 teamer. I hope he can lower his era and cut out the walks. I look (or hope) for him to have a good year. ;-D

That would be the best spot to have him.

Interestingly, 15 W's is right on the consensus projection for Wolf on my "average projections" :-D Wins are VERY unpredictable tho. Here's the industry's early guess (average of 10 sources):

15-10/ 205 IP/ 177 K/ 4.04 ERA/ 1.27 WHIP :-?
