i see alot of similarities in these two. a couple 6-2 225lb lefthanded journeyman sluggers who found a new home in tampa. both had one good season many years ago.
this time last year nobody was picking up pena - thinking it was a fluke. we all know how that story ended.
fast-forward to May 9, 2008. hinske is actually ahead of the pace pena set in 2007 (see below). plus he has more speed, and 1B,3B,OF eligibility. (technically, he still needs one more game to gain the 3B)
are people going to make the same mistake again? or are you picking him up?
