why not a hold?

Postby blocko66 » Fri May 09, 2008 4:17 pm

They took Acosta's save away the other night and I understand why, But why doesn't he get a hold?

just another example: May 1st Blue jays - Boston game ended 3-0 Carlson came into the game in the 8th with 2 outs, nobody on base and a 3 run lead... he gets a hold...

just wondering, no big deal

Thanks...

He ended the game correct? Can't be a hold then, it requires that another pitcher come in after you.
