It's frustrating as a Cardinal fan. LaRussa gets these platoon ideas in his head and says that Ludwig can't hit righties. He should ride this hot hand as long as he can. If he doesn't get at least 3 starts in that Milwaukee series, I am going to be frustrated.
I'm tired of seeing Duncan (and his crappy defense) play all the time.
Typical Thursday in a daily league I grab a hot hitter for one night. BAM, 2 home runs. Makes all those times you grab a 0-4 hitter worth it... well not really, but you get the point.

I know it's frustrating for fantasy baseball fans, but in actual baseball it does make some sense. LaRussa likes keeping all of his guys fresh, and so he cycles them in and out constantly. Ludwick well definitely see some playing time, but he'll also sit once or twice a week.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Yea which isn't too bad I guess. Most of those sits would probably be tough matchups anyway. Chris Duncan does seem lost and useless though to me.
yeah, the rotation isn't a bad thing but it keeping Duncan in the field is. His adventures in Colorado the other night were embarrassing. He's like a big, dumb oaf out there.
Now, trying to explain what LaRussa is thinking with the Schumaker/Barton situation is just about impossible. Barton can't seem to make it past the 4th inning in any game he starts before Schu is pinch hitting for him. But that has little to no fantasy significance.
