Anyone know how his velocity was today? I'm just sick of his inconsistency this year and i'm mad at myself for starting him after sitting him for his gem against the giants... his k/9 was fine, again, but he basically got lit up. He has single handedly screwed my roto team this year, partially my fault for not benching him through this crap.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Been pitching him through every start hoping he'll turn things around but it is just not happening. Unfortunately, I don't have any options on my team so I have to start him everytime. SP is a mess with Smoltz, Hill, and Gallardo all gone from their SP roles.

As a Phillies fan I'm especially frustrated by Myers starts this year. I also have him on two of my roto teams to boot.

Anyway, his velocity was around 87-90...not great. Although you listen to the Phillies announcers and they say the velocity is there. I don't see it. He was a 90-93 pitcher in his entire career...so something is up here. Not to mention his control is abysmal and he's always been like a little a.d.d. addled child out there. One base hit and he gets pissed, then falls apart. I'm about to cut bait with him honestly.

Im a Myers and Jered Weaver owner and both of those guys I look at as mentally fragile pitchers.

I like to play matchups w/ players like that. for this week i benched both guys.

I do expect more wins from Myers once he gets his control situated.
