I went ahead and grabbed him a few days back in a league where I drafted Johjima.
Usually don't clutter my roster with two catchers, but it's nice to see one of them hitting the ball. If Ianetta keeps it up, I'll have some options with the logjam.

I think I'm about to drop Pudge and grab Ianetta because I just read he will be splitting time with Inge now due to being terrible.
Dioner Navarro is also looking pretty good...

I dropped Towles for Ianetta in my league where we start 2 catchers for a total of 162 games. Even if he splits some time, he will be perfect with Mauer as my "every day" catcher.

I'm in the exact same situation.

Can't say I understand this move. If Torrealba keeps struggling and Iannetta keeps raking I can't see this situation lasting for long.

I agree. I almost think that it's Hurdle's way of not rocking the boat just yet. I would be very surprised if Iannetta's workload didn't increase...

Hurdle also put in Herrera to pinch run down by 1 in the bottom of the 9th with 0 outs instead of Podsednik even with a rookie catcher behind home plate
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment
