I think Galarraga for Det threw one to Ortiz yesterday (might have been a real slow curve, I only saw a quick highlight).
Thats was a curveball. Was at eye level and drop down to the strike zone.
Filthy.

Steve Hamilton a pitcher for Yankees in late 60s early 70s also threw one --he was a lefty.

Yes, I was at the Minny - St Louis game in the Metrodome, I think 1999, and Tewkesbury's first pitch to McGwire was so slow it hardly made it there but it was a strike. McGwire was so far out in front he nearly fell over but thought it was hilarious.....as did Tewkesbury.
