Any idea when/if he'll get called up? CBS says it could be in the next few starts.

It has been speculated that he will be up before the end of May but I haven't read anything solid.

Well, he's been called up and has been electric so far. Any further scouting reports on this guy? I'm looking to pick up another pitcher with Oswalt Dled, but would like more background info..

I watched him pitch against the Braves. The guy throws a Fastball that is consistantly clocked around 93 mph. He has a big curveball that he throws and also mixes in a sinker. In the game I watched the Braves hit his fastball pretty hard, some where warning track shots. Keep in mind warning track shots at Dolphin Stadium are HR's in 50% of other MLB parks. His fastball didn't seem to have much movement on it which might have resulted in it being hit hard. When he threw the curve he seemed to leave it up in the strike zone a lot, I was really waiting for someone to pound a hanger into the seats.

The other issue is that he has Uggla behind him at 2nd base... with him using the sinker that is bad news. Uggla is painful to watch and would have had an error on a ground out if the runner had not been McCann.

I have Volstad on my fantasy team but I am really hesitant to start him the next time round... I just have this feeling that he is going to get hammered.
