Maryvale, AZ (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Brewers reached contract agreements Wednesday with pitchers Matt Kinney and Nick Neugebauer.
Both agreed to one-year deals with the club. However, financial terms were not disclosed.
The 27-year-old Kinney was 10-13 with a 5.19 ERA in 33 games in 2003. The righthander spent his first two major league seasons with the Minnesota Twins and owns a career record of 14-22 with a 5.06 ERA.
Neugebauer, meanwhile, is just 23 years of age, but is coming off shoulder surgery that forced him to miss all of last year. He has appeared in 14 career games -- all starts -- in 2001 and 2002, winning just two of those games.
The Brewers still have seven unsigned players; pitchers Chris Capuano, Doug Davis and Wayne Franklin, infielders Keith Ginter, Bill Hall and Lyle Overbay and outfielder Scott Podsednik.
