In the "FYI" category: I dumped Swisher in all three of my leagues. No one has picked him up in ANY of them, so I guess I'm not the only one who has no interest in him!

He had a couple hits tonight but didn't hit the ball with authority.

The problem with a slumping slugger like Swisher is not knowing when to give up on him. It is mid May and still relatively early. I think if some guys are still in a major funk by June 1 then you can start cutting some of your losses provided there are good options still available. In shallow leagues, you can probably cut him and wait for him to heat up to grab him again.

I suppose Swisher is bound to come around eventually but he is becoming a liability in CF. He doesn't throw to the right base, he doesn't get a good jump on the ball and he doesn't have the speed to cover a lot of ground. He's just NOT a centerfielder. I think he probably cost Gavin Floyd a no-hitter (or you can blame the manager for not putting in Anderson in the 9th).
Quentin has been great, Dye is still healthy and Konerko is playing through his hand problem. You just have to wonder how long they'll stick with him in CF. I can't imagine Swisher being benched but I could see him sitting a game or two each week until his bat heats up.

Not ripping the cover off the ball? He's been terrible. Completely. I couldn't hold him any longer and gave him the axe last weekend.
