Jacque Jones was just designated for assignment by the Tigers. I realize no one gives a hoot about Jacque Jones, but what about his potential replacement(s)? Do the tigers really plan to go with some combination of Inge/Thames the rest of the year? They're both righties and this is a HEAVILY righty-leaning lineup, so one wouldn't think so.

By now, SOMEONE realizes where I'm going with this, right? There's a certain lefty slugger who can play a passable left field out there looking for a job with a contender....

It's looking better and better with each Tiger loss, IMO. They will get more and more desperate and eventually sign him. I'm strongly considering picking him up in a couple of leagues because I'm afraid I won't be quick enough to the trigger when he's actually signed.
