I might go with Foulke over Rivera, but I would def. be happy with the Cutter.
How about Smoltz? In one league, Foulke was taken so I was having this same debate in my head except plugging in Smoltz for Foulke.
But then, having Gagne already, I took Beckett when I realized he was still available. Figured he was as risky as Smoltz or Rivera but had the most potential as a young ace.

Really? Any evidence, other then a hunch?
Naturally there is no evidence. I've based that opinion on the assumption that the Yankees, with their deep starting rotation and stronger offense, will not need Rivera as much.
1998 Yankees won 114 games and Rivera got just 36 saves
