Finally got to see him and Aaron Heilman pitch this weekend in the same game. That was the game Heilman hit 2 guys back to back to load the bases and struck out the last guy. He looks so good and then so bad, all in the same at bat. Is he overthrowing or what?

And as for Dirty, he was 89-91 most of the time I saw him and he got rocked. Has his velocity been that down all season or was it a bad game?

I'm not sure about that. First year off major surgery a 4.3 ERA is not terrible. Who is our 3rd best RHRP as of now? None of our relievers will have much experience outside of KRod/Putz/Feliciano. I know Dirty Duaner was not the same after his injury, but it's not like he was making 5 Mil. I think he would have had a good chance to be our 4th best RP/3rd best RHRP, IMO that is worth more than the 1.2 mil we're saving.

I think that they are giving serious consideration to Parnell. And if it's true that Sanchez was struggling to hit the upper-80s, I don't doubt that Parnell could at least be as effective as he would have been.

Nothing against Parnell, I just hate the idea of going into the season with only 4 RPs (KRod, Putz, Feliciano-whose just a lefty specialist, Green-career ERA of 4.32, I haven't seen much of him but if he is reliable then I am okay with letting Duaner go) with more than 50 major league innings thrown.
