hmmm. both would be major improvements over Spiezio. I like Klesko better, and I think he will put together a nice season. However, I am not as high on Hinske. His numbers should be good but I do not believe he will get numbers like Klesko.

i agree with the people who said hinske if you need a 3b and klesko for utility.
nevin is already complaining about left field at petco being too big so maybe knock a couple homers off of klesko's usual but his other numbers should be solid.
i am not sure where hinske will bat in the lineup - second? - 6 or 7? at the top of the order he will score some runs and even steal a base or two. some people are predicting his doubles will turn into homers but i am a little pessimistic.

Doubles to homers only makes sense because he was playing with a hurt wrist last year and didn't have much strength in it. With a strong wrist some of those long double probably would be homers. Just my opinion.
