Harang is definitely a must-start every time out. He gives up his share of HR shots, but he's relatively stingy in allowing unnecessary baserunners and his K rate is still right up there.
Well, I'm giving consideration to benching him in my league that counts losses. If my league didn't count losses, I'd start him, especially since it seems like there is no chance Aramis plays tonight.
However, the Reds' offense is awful, and Zambrano has been very good this year. I don't see teh Reds scoring more than 2-3 runs.

Well, I'll tell you who I am, I'm the guy that called that game dead on. Reds' offense is awful, and they won't do anything against Zambrano. In my league that counts losses, I benched him, and it was the right call.

good for you. keep playing the matchups...when he throws a gem and you miss out all the correct moves in the world wont make up for that...bet it was a struggle not to post anything before the game ended...good for you. you were right (lucky) to not play Harang, and I'd still say you were wrong/dumb.

I didn't bench for him anyone, just put him on the bench.
Look, I like Harang a lot, but the guy was my 10th round pick, so it isn't like I'm benching a guy taken in the first few rounds. Bedard is the ace of my staff, and I also have Ervin Santana, B. Myers, Cueto, Billingsley, and had Gallardo. I'm doing alright this year with that staff with a team ERA of 2.99 and WHIP of 1.08. Not too bad for a dumb guy playing the matchups.
Regarding the comment that I'm dumb, I know you are, but what am I..............grow up first grader. You were wrong, and I'm the dumb one? Hilarious.

i said you were Correct...keep doing it. it worked, but get it wrong just once and you kick yourself over and over for it. so yeah i think its a dumb strategy with a pitcher of Harangs quality (at this point in the season). I was wrong in this instance no question and you were right that doesnt mean what you did wasnt dumb, just means it worked out for ya....congrats
