Why isn't MIggy batting 3rd or 4th? WHY?!

Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

if anything Cabrera was too low, why would they put him lower.
He does lead the team in BB's, works the count well & is a very good baserunner so I guess its not that off the wall.
You know, I was thinking the same thing. He walks a ton, and fouls off a lot of pitches. Since coming to Detroit, he's also shown he can still steal bases. So what if he's old and rickety. He puts up the numbers.
Looking back at the last paragraph, I guess I could've just written "ditto." Oh well.

Fool, are you mad? Don't you know that if Bonds and Sheff share a clubhouse, it increases the chances of their colliding massive egos achieving critical mass and destroying all of creation!
Why do you think they kept Bonds in the NL for so long?

To be honest, it sounds like a better fit than most anywhere else... if anyone can handle Bonds, it's Leyland. Leyland has Bonds's respect from Pirates days of the early '90s. And Barry would downright look like a fine upstanding nice guy when sitting next to Sheffield...
(though Sheffield's SI interview a few years ago about how he was better than Bonds might cause friction... (and Ichiro (because he didn't try to hit singles, or he'd have that many hits), and Jeter (because he wasn't all-the-way-black) and Torre (because he hated black people) and the media, and praise God for all the talent! (really a very "religious" guy...
