Here it is according to Tigers radio:

DH Sheffield
2B Polanco
CF Granderson
RF Ordonez
3B Guillen
1B Cabrera
LF Thames
SS Renteria
C Rodriguez

MCab in the 6 hole is just gay, in front of Thames too. Get ready to see him get a TON of walks.

They scored the 2nd most Rs in the AL and just got Granderson back... Meanwhile, last in ERA and they think that their lineup is the problem?

hmmm...interesting. i was expecting
Sheffield
Renteria
Granderson
Maggs
M-Cab
Guillen
Jones
Pudge
Polanco
but that was prior to Jones gettin released

M-Cab that low does seem a bit dumb, but at least this gives us some leftys spread througout the lineup

Well not really there will be 6 straight RH from MCab back around to Polanco.

Who really expected Sheff to leadoff :-o

if anything Cabrera was too low, why would they put him lower.

He does lead the team in BB's, works the count well & is a very good baserunner so I guess its not that off the wall.

eh...they're pitching has come around some...they really struggled offensively at Minnesota this weekend. aside from a 6 run 1st yesterday they had 2 runs in 26 innings (although 0-15 in games in which they score 0-4 runs does indicate some pitching problems)

besides, your run scoring stats are skewed...they scored 90% of their runs in that 3 game series vs Texas ;-7

as a Tigers fan i dont have an issue with the shakeup

They should leadoff with Polanco

1. Polanco
2. Renteria
3. Granderson
4. Ordonez
5. Guillen
6. Cabrera
7. Sheffield
8. Thames
9. Rodriguez

That looks way better to me.
