How far do you think Homer Bailey is away from the bigs?

I figure with ther Red current SP meltdown from Arroyo and a few more, Bailey is 1-2 weeks away.

Even if he gets called up, I would wait and see whether or not he can pitch well in the majors.

Bailey is having a strong season at AAA right now. 39.1 IP 2.29 ERA and has a 32/9 strikeout to walk ratio. With this type of production, Reds will definitely call him up sooner rather than later. If he strings another couple of strong starts together in AAA, look for the call. Wouldn't be suprised if he's in the rotation end May early June.

Was never sold on Homer, so I'd like to see the guy prove me wrong.
I think he gets the call sooner than later IMO.

Same, but I could use another arm in my 20 team roto league. I missed the draft and it drafted Bailey, so he's been on my bench. I'd like for him to prove me wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Last time I checked he was tearing up AAA. I'm not sold on him either but he certainly seems to have the necessary tools.

I'm not a big Bailey fan either but I stashed him on one team just to see what happens.

If he's healthy this year I think he will be much more effective than what we saw last year. From what I understand he was bothered by a nagging groin pull. And to reiterate the other posters, I can't see the Reds keeping him in AAA while the rotation struggles.
