What do you guys think about Delgado?

I don't think he should be owned right now in standard mixed leagues. deep mixed and Nl only, but something is not right for him this year. He is starting to show some power at least, but his average is not going to be good.

He's looked good this weekend. But he hasn't looked good for many months now, and 1 weekend does not a season make.

That said, if he's available, you could do worse than take a flier off the FA list. Who knows. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

He just hit a bomb about 420 feet that went off the top of the wall for a double. Quite the shot.

if you need some cheap home runs, he's definitely a place where you can go to get them, but I think his 30 hr seasons are pretty much over.

In that offense he could put up solid power numbers. 30 HR's 100 RBI's are possible. But he is going to hit .250 and likely will be more like 25/90.

Same as last year he has started slow but once the weather heats up he will be very valuable for those that took him in the mid/ late rounds as their platoon 1B. It is interesting to note that he has done all his damage so far this season during day games.

Come June, July I fully expect him to be contributing just as much as those over rated 1B such as Justin Morneau.
