please tell me what other team is good enough to win?
dodgers have pitching and their hitting has to get better.
with the losses and players the other teams have , the dodgers are the only complete team. Please take a minute to think about this and tell me who you think can beat them or if the dodgers are the team to beat.

True the Dogers still might come out of the West, it will be a wide open race, where anyone in the division can win it. (Even the Rockies)
If I had to pick now I would say SD comes out on top of the West.
What pitching? Their pithcing is considerably less than it was last year.
Wow...I'm a Dodger fan, but that's a pretty bold statement...I'll give you all the support I can...
ANYONE can win the NL West (except maybe the Rockies). So when you say nobody can beat the Dodgers, I don't agree with you, because it's clearly a possibility. However, I think they have a decent shot of making the playoffs.
Pitching:
SP's - Nomo, Perez, Ishii, Weaver, E. Jackson/Dreifort
Although Brown has departed, still a very strong staff (assuming Weaver can find his way again...Dodger Stadium should help).
MR's/setup - Alvarez, Martin, Shuey, Mota, (some other new guys)
Closer - Game Over
I think the bullpen will be at the top of the majors in era again...
Hitting:
Most of the optimism for Dodger fans doesn't lie in the moves they made during the offseason, but rather the expected return to dominance of Shawn Green and the hope of a full productive year from Beltre. Lo Duca putting on some muscle is also a good sign, and the signing of Encarnacion was a significant upgrade over Brian Jordan. I've seen some flashes of brilliance from Roberts and think he can be a productive leadoff hitter (with Maury Wills as tutor/mentor, he should be able to improve his OBP).
Roberts
Lo Duca
Green
Encarnacion
Beltre
Trammel
Cora/Thurston
Izturis
Not very menacing for sure, but if some key players can bounce back, and Roberts is able to set the table, a wild card spot is not out of the question. I don't see anyone running away with it in this division, so if the Dodgers are hanging around at the end of August, NL West champs isn't out of the question...although it is a stretch. But preseason's all about being optimistic about your favorite team, so here I am bleeding Dodger Blue, defending my team.
