Why are there sooo many haters out there... With closers running low, I drafted Armando in the 14th round of my 5x5 11 team rotisserie league and got bashed for taking him... personally i still have no regrets... the guy may have the best mentalily for a closer but in the fantasy world, he delivers solids numbers... what are your predictions and feelings on Armando in 04?

I personally would have taken him also.
Whomever you play against puts way too much emphasis on choice games.

14th round?

That's astounding. In a 12 team league he shouldn't last past round 10 in most drafts. (wait, now that I think about it, that translates to round 11-12 in an 11 team draft. Still, great pick in the 14th round!) People too often confuse a player's real baseball utility with their fantasy utility. Good job taking advantage of that bias.
He throws a few too many walks to be in the upper echelon, but has a great K/IP ratio - something that I always look for in closers. He'll do fine in FLO - though you may want to sit him when he visits Shea

hehe thanks all... but are u kidding me... i live in New York so i'll be able to tune into armandos home coming... w/ all these damn NY Muts fans i have for friends, i'm definitely gonna give armando the nod to close the door. I mean, it's not like Pat Burrell is gonna end the game w/ a walk-off shot.
