I can't believe I let Clay Bucholtz slip through my fingers only because I was waiting for Yahoo to DL Chad Cordero.... I can't even say I smoke too much (at all really)

You were waiting for Washington to place Cordero on the DL.

I've got little doubt Trying to blame the system rather then myself for my fantasy baseball blunders
I hate to say this, because I love Yahoo and I hate people that whinge about it, but Yahoo (or their information providers) cost me 2 points in H2H with incorrect Xing of Jacoby Ellsbury.

Yahoo.... not perfect. The real world.... the same Deal with it, adjust, find a way around the quirks.... make them work for you. If you're using Yahoo as your only source of fantasy baseball info... Well man, I hope you're in my league Actually I'm sure some of you are Enjoy sixth place

What the hell? Was that a fantasy baseball haiku?
Anyway, the OP's complaining about how slow Yahoo is to put a guy on the DL, when their policy is to do so once official... shouldn't they be commended instead for knowing about it so far in advance and giving early and accurate updates on future injury status?
Well done! Now would you please get Kershaw in the database before everyone finds out about him?

once he's placed on the DL by the team, he'll be on the DL in the game...
If you check your link, it still says no Gallardo on DL, but Yahoo finally pulled the trigger.
So Buser is right; the most likely interpretation of what you're observing is that their site is not up to date. But I can assure you "we" did not pull the trigger. If someone was going to be forced onto the DL, I might well be the person who had to do it, and not only didn't I, I would have to figure out where to begin, since we don't ever do that. If he's on the DL, it is because our data feed says he's on the DL, and that originates with official data. It is possible someone upstream of us made the editorial decision to put him on the DL, but that is unlikely.
