anybody know the average roto scores to win (overall and by category) from last year and/or historical?

I remember reading something from espn last year which was kind of nice during drafts to ballpark strength/weakness in cats.

I've seen it change dramatically from league to league. Just depends on how active and astute the other owners are.

How many teams is also a big factor in the equation. ;-)

78% of the total points usually wins, or puts you real close.

Sounds like a good estimate to me for competitive leagues. Any reason for the exact figure? (HOOTIE always has good reasons. :-) )

In sharks & minnows leagues, on the other hand, you might have to aim for the high 80s, or even more...

Thanks. I was hoping for a by category breakdown. Let's 12 team 5x5 league winners averaged:
.300 BA 170 sb 1250 rbi 1100 runs 270 hr (just an estimated guess from one of my leagues.
Also want:
whip, era. k, sv, w

my league is set as below but guestimates are fine.
1b 2b 3b ss ci mi 5of utl sp sp rp rp 5p

start 5 SP 2RP 1P (1000 IP min - 1500 IP max)

RUN: 1088/1033/984
RBI: 1075/972/955
HR: 305/267/264
SB: 156/140/135
AVG: 297/289/288
OPS: 875/871/863

WIN: 100/98/96
LOSS: 63/72/72
SV: 118/113/111
K: 1310/1256/1221
ERA: 3.27/3.34/3.40

I had a link to this kind of info about 2 years ago, but I'm not sure what I did with it. I'm at work right now, but I'm gonna check my computer at home and see if I can find it again. I checked last night and couldn't find it, but I'm interested in finding this kind of info myself, so I'll check again.
