I still stand by him not being top 10 at the end of the year. I'm guessing he'll put up the same stats as last year with a slight drop in average but still around .310-.320 and around the same amount of homers (27). He was 7th or 8th best last year and at least 4-5 players will pass those stats this year.

It's not like he was a top 10 draft pick in fantasy leagues this year though. I reached for him at 15 in one league because we're counting hitter's strikeouts and OPS. He usually went around 20th in my other drafts. I wasn't expecting him to be a top ten player and I doubt most people were.

I'd usually try to buy low, but I have a bad feeling with Vlad this year. I don't think he will fall completely off of the map, but he's not worth the 2-3 round pick he was drafted at. Unless you can get him at a complete bargain, I'd stay away.

I esentially traded Cliff lee and Joakim Soria for him, and since then he has done nothing.

Ya I can beat you on that one!! I traded Krod and Ellsbury for him!!! THen lost Corpas... my only closer is now wood! haha... I need this guy to start to hit the ball! im last in HR and RBI... i thought he would instantaneously help to get me out of that hole! But now Im in the same hole and have created another with my closers! hahha

Going into the season I thought my offense was going to be great and my pitching would struggle. Turns out im bottom 3 in every offensive catagory but doing well in pitching other than wins and k's but I have Kazmir and Lacket coming back.

Still waiting for Victorino, Dunn, Soriano, Vlad to get going. And Miggy Cabrera to get his average to well over .300 like it should be to go along with the power numbers.
