Bailey or Kershaw?

Postby deanpapelbon » Fri May 02, 2008 9:05 pm

I know there's a lot of talk of both these guys but I havent seen a post asking this question. Forgive me if I am missing something. I have Bailey stashed right now and Kershaw is available, but I fear not for long. I'm in a 10 team CBS keeper (7) league and am wondering who you think the better play is short-term and long-term. I only have 2 reserve spots and one is taken by Bruce.

Should I drop Bailey for Kershaw, why or why not?

Thanks for the help.

Bailey's going to show up a lot sooner, so assuming that you're not going to make either of them one of your 7 keepers, you'll get more value out of Bailey. In fact, some people have speculated that Kershaw won't even get called up this year.

I would consider making one of them a keeper depending on the rest of the year. Right now my keepers are:

Hamels
Felix
C. Crawford
Bruce
Longoria
R. Martin
and
Papi
Bailey/Kershaw
McLouth??
Owings??
or
(basically I dont know, I'n hoing to upgrade Pena at first base to lock in a 7th)
