Is he hurting? What's up with him?

He's hurting and he's not that young. I mean, he had a good year last year, but you can't expect injuries to just keep deflecting off the guy. He's getting cortisone shots and complaining about pain - not good.

This is certainly opening up a door for the Tigers to go get Bonds.

Is Sheffield old? Yes. Does he play with injuries? Yes. But is he done? Heck no! His bat speed is stilll good and making contact on pitches. Right now, it is just a matter of getting his timing back. Once he gets his timing back and batting 3rd in that lineup? He should be a very viable OF in all leagues. He may take a few days off here and there, but he should be productive the rest of the year.
