You know when I saw that injury I thought to my hypochondriac self "I remember when I bent my knee over a tree they said that ACL tears may not immediately be noticable and occasionally never show symptoms"

Nice work Yost
If what you're quoting is true, how is this Yost's fault again?

His failure to manage his pitchers. It's not Yost's fault that Gallardo got hurt but to leave him in after the incident lacks common sense.

I still haven't seen the collision in question, but if the tear was not noticeable, nor showed any symptoms, its reasonable that if Yo said he was good to go, Yost was fine going on that. Was he in clear pain while he was out there in that last inning?
Again, the first I had heard of any of this was when I got home from work today.
It depends on whether or not it is a rehab or a surgery. The most likely case is he has surgery and is out for the year but unless you are desperate I would wait the week or less it will take to know for sure.

Gallardo was lying, that he was ok. Yost is not a doctor. If he sais he is ok, he is the pitcher. Thats it.
