Really sad to see. The good news, however, is that it was not an arm issue. He might even be back to start next season in the rotation if he has a Milton Bradley-type miracle ACL recovery.

True but with pitchers any injury, no matter how small, is troubling.
Yep, this wasn't even the same knee he had surgery on earlier this spring. Now he's going to have had surgery on both knees

. I hope he comes back perfectly fine, but these things are never simple especially for a pitcher.

Ned Yost in the second worst manager in the history of baseball (behind Dusty of course). He should have taken the kid out after that horrible looking fall.

Yes.
No he is not, this is bad information so ignore it. They are waiting for the swelling to come down before seeing what the timetable is.

Unfortunate for the Brewers. I think the Brewers stil have a better starting rotation if Sheets can stay healthy

That's 2 years in a row he hasn't pitched a full season. Injuries this early are not a good sign for this guy. Oh BTW Lincecum >> Gallardo easy

Even before the injury I preferred Lincecum over Gallardo but I had them pretty close.
