Great job by Ned Yost once again letting him pitch the 6th with a torn ACL. Not like you want to protect the kid or anything considering he just came back from knee surgery.
Well, in Ned's defense (and I defend him very rarely), Gallardo stated he was okay and the trainer cleared him. Could Ned have made an executive decision to pull him anyway? Perhaps, but I don't think I can really blame him too much for this.
Another Brewer fan made a decent point -- this team's 4 games over .500, Yo has only pitched in 3 games so far, and in those games we were 1-2. So we've been good to this point without a big impact from Yo (win-loss wise anyway, the way he's pitched he should be 3-0). If the offense hits like it should (it really hasn't yet), Parra steps up a bit and Sheets stays healthy (the big "if" right now), we still have a chance. Still, I think the Cubs got a big head-up in the division because of this.
