Countdown to Kershaw

I'll be somewhat pissed if he gets called up shortly. I had the #1 waiver priority in my keeper league and decided to use it on Scherzer simply because he is in the bigs now. I wasn't sure if Kershaw would get called up or not so I went with the sure thing. Plus, his line to start is much longer than Scherzer's. Did I mess up grabbing Scherzer??

I like Kershaw more, but being in the same position you have to go after Max.
If they're both on Innings Watch, but Max is using up his in the majors, then he's worth more to you than if Kershaw is called up for a couple of starts while he uses up all of his in AA.

Unreal how fickle fantasy owners are. Mad Max was the hottest thing going and everyone was rushing to burn whatever waiver they had to get him, he's making his first start on Monday, and yet some are now calling it a mistake to use the priority on him because of news that Kershaw is being moved to the bullpen in the minors?

I think at this point, you have to go with Max. Kershaw is an awesome prospect but he is still pitching to AA batters, so who knows how well he will do facing hitters at higher level. At least Max was already striking guys out left and right in AAA before his called up. Time will tell who is the better prospect but take the sure thing for now.

I think Kershaw will have the better major league career and he could be a total stud. But in the short term, everyone should keep in mind he's not even old enough to legally drink and has not even been tested at the AAA level yet.

But seriously folks... Is Kershaw supposed to be like a Lincecum-type can't miss kid? Or hopefully, maybe even better... like a Phil Hughes can't miss kid. That guy's awesome!!
