Overall, a pretty decent-looking team. You have an excellent rotation (looks as though you spent most of your early round picks on pitchers), an above-average bullpen and very nice bench depth. Your starting hitters are a mixed bag, with mostly younger guys who are not fully proven ie Blalock, Teixeira, Kearns, Huff, Berroa, Bradley, Cabrera and good veterans with some injury history ie Lieberthal, Sweeney, Johnson, Alou. In addition you have Matsui (who knows what's going to happen there), Munson (unproven and plays for the Tigers) and Walker (may find himself in a platoon role). Sosa is your only truly BIG bat. I'd like to come up with one more masher, if I were you... Also, in scanning the names amongst your hitters, I'd be hard-pressed to say that you have a top-five player at ANY position. In fact I'd say most would agree that you don't...... Love those starting pitchers though. I might look at dealing one of those guys, for some hitting help.....

Just some things to think about. However, I still would say you have a good enough all-around roster to finish top 5, especially in H2H!

well i was thinking of giving up zito for tejada. what do you think..
the guy that has him has renteria. he has tejada on his bench. i could always pick up a 4th sp right.

i'd do that trade in a heartbeat. there always seems to be pitchers around during the year that you can snatch up. then maybe later in the year if berroa has a nice season you could move a shortstop for some power. also i'd play sweeney at first and move huff to the outfield for alou. alou's best days are behind them and if sweeny stays healthy he's a real nice first baseman. i think bradley could have a nice year this year too but he and berroa are the only guys that can steal bases for you which might hurt you.
