10 team leagues are just so small...

Thats the truth... finding 2 more competitive managers is so difficult.

That gripe aside, back to Hafner lol. I'm really examining his career splits and i don't like what i see for the short term. Of all the months, May is home to his lowest average and 2nd lowest slugging and OPS. OBP is decent, but I think his recent performance cancels that out. I'm last place in hitting and I don't need dead weight on my bench any longer.

This is difficult for me to say... I've been a fan for so long now... but I have to say goodbye, Pronkster. It was a blast while it lasted. :~(

the fellas on baseball tonight broke down his approach at the plate last week.

-he is putting more weight on his back leg aka not balanced at the plate

-he is holding his bat lower, so it is taking him longer to bring it through the zone.

-he is making contact with the ball later in his swinging motion as opposed to earlier.

I traded the loser along with Fuentes for Beltran.

I'm never drafting Hafner again, ever! :-°

Says he's been bothered by shoulder injury since spring training according to CBS... is this new information?

I don't recall reading about a shoulder injury in 2008. Not wishing anyone be injured but i kinda hope this is legit and explains his lack of power so far this year. I would embace a DL stint at this point. I don't have the heart yet to waive him since I gave up a bit of my future(Bailey and my 1st rnd minors pick this past draft) hoping to increase my power numbers for a run at the championship. Luckily I havn't needed him... yet.
