I agree that Marmol is valuable within his current role, but at what point do you need to make a change to ensure that you win more games. From a team perspective he is one of the best setup men in baseball, but from an owners perspective I want him to have the closer job now, and his numbers prove it. For all we know, taking the pressure off Wood could be just what he needs to thrive in relief.
I gruntle the disgruntled.

Why not have Marmol pitch the 8th and 9th innings then? whats the difference? Wood has 4 saves and has blown 3 others. Even Joe Blow only blew 5 last year. Not to mention Wood's attraction to the DL. I would say its only a matter of time till Wood blows it himself, or he goes to the DL.
