Rockies Shortstop Troy Tulowitski has torn a tendon in his left quadricep. The injury happened Tuesday. It could mean that Tulo will be out of line-up until mid-July. Details on 850KOA or Click here for more news and information or talk about it on our forums.

Ouch, tough break for a talented kid. It's looking like a sophmore season to forget for Tulo between the slow start and the injury. Thankfully I avoided him in all my leagues because I felt he was being overdrafted. This isn't the type of injury that should effect his hitting stroke long-term (like, say, a wrist injury), so hopefully he comes back strongly.

Glad I traded Hardy and F.Cordero for him :(. I did manage to get Iguchi to fill in at least and I have Barmes in another league so I guess I can live with it.

I said it last yr and Ill say it again. Tulo is one hit wonder. His defense will be there but don't expect much from him offensively going forward.

I think he'll be worth stashing because he'll most likely have a crazy good 2nd half.... that's when it counts the most...

Oh yeah, I play in a really deep league(14 teams,31 player rosters after BN/DL) so no way I will drop him. Wandy is coming off the DL soon and I can just swap him with Tulo now.

this is sad to hear, because I have a ton of respect for his game, but on the other hand, felt he was drafted way too high for my liking, and thus avoided him in my drafts.

I traded for him on Monday. The trade was accepted at 6:15 PM Pacific Time, and the game in which he got injured started at 7:05. What a shame.
