Justin Lehr struck out nine in 5.2 innings on Tuesday for Triple-A Louisville. He also gave up eight hits and two walks.

Spin: He struck out the first four batters, struck out two with the bases loaded in the third and then gave up two runs in the fifth and sixth innings on well-hit balls. This was his worst outing of the year and it wasn't that bad. He has a 27:5 K:BB over 32.2 innings with a 1.43 GO:AO and remains a viable call-up if any of the Reds' starters stumbles.
