Gallardo (Injury Scare)

Just went down in a heap at first base, trying to cover on a bunt by Reed Johnson...........looks bad right now. Seems to be the knee.....(right one, is that the one he had surgery on?)

He was down on the ground for a good 3 or 4 minutes.........just got up now........walking around a bit.....replay shows he hyperextended his knee......looked terrible, but he's gonna try to continue pitching.

Im watching the game right now on WGN...Gallardo looks fine after the awkward landing on his right knee HOWEVER his fastball is topping out at 85 MPH. Is that normal?

He was leaving everything up that inning so obviously something isn't right with it.

He looked just a bit shook up. If anything was seriously wrong I'm sure he wouldn't have come back out.
