Alex Gordons Spot in KC's Lineup

Why is he batting 7th? and every other night hes batting 6th, sometimes 3rd... hes having a decent season, hitting over .300, can we put him in the 3 hole permanently??? Whats the deal over in KC? anyone have any ideas or input???

His worst production this year has come when he is in the 3 hole.....KC is scared to have him go through long slumps so they like to mix it up with him and he seems to respond to that pretty well. Just about everyone we have tried in the 3 hole this year has performed at a lower level than any other spot. Once someone steps forward and proves they can hit in a certain spot in the lineup it will happen...but when the team is dead last in runs scored they think they need to shake things up and try different things out to create a spark. I'm sure once they realize we are what we are and no amount of tweaking will help the linup much, other than warm weather, I'm sure they will settle on a more consistant lineup.
