When will we see Jay Bruce?

And your post gave us what? Do us all a favor and don't post on this site, but instead go on to rotoworld.com and click refresh every couple of minutes until you see its official that Bruce has been called up.

my man, took your advice and refreshed rotoworld and this is what i got:

"The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Jay Bruce will be called up before Tuesday's game.

It was definitely time. The report doesn't indicate what change will be made to open up a roster spot. The Reds might as well release Corey Patterson, who shouldn't have a role with Bruce up. Ryan Freel can continue to get some starts versus lefties, though the Reds probably won't use Bruce as a true platoon player."

I'd sit him tomorrow if you have other options. We really dont know whats going to happen with bruce. he may just come in to pinch hit at first. If you have another option use it until you see what dusty does with him

when looking at these rooks like bruce, longoria, headley, etc. who's got the most value for 2008?

Longoria is the better hitter. Headley will have multi-position eligibility but is in crappy San Diego. Bruce is a lefty in a park where other lefties (Griff, Dunn) thrive. My ranking on 2008 impact.

Longoria>>Bruce>>>>>Headley

Bruce Meaningful Triple A Stats

08' ------- 138 AB's 7 HR 7 SB .348 AVG


Not sure what your basing your opinions on, but the numbers reflect that Bruce is the superior hitter.
